Oxfordshire Talking Therapies

Felling low, anxious or stressed? Oxfordshire talking therapies offer a range of free services such as counselling and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) which are effective treatments for a range of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). Please refer yourself using the link below. If you are aged between 16 to 18 you will need to be referred to Oxfordshire Talking Therapies by Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). Referrals to CAMHS can be completed by school teachers or your GP.

Oxfordshire Mind

Oxfordshire MIND provide a wealth of resources to support patients with mental health problems. They offer a range of services such as peer support groups, 1-to-1 wellbeing sessions, supported housing and support for children, young people and families.

Oxford Safe Haven

A specialised safe haven offering a late-night safe space for people experiencing mental health crisis has opened off Cowley Road in Oxford. Oxford Safe Haven (OSH) offers additional out-of-hours support for adults living with mental illness in Oxfordshire. People must call ahead to hold a place at the drop-in in Manzil Way, Oxford, for immediate mental health support in a non-medical environment.
